Children

Sundays

Nursery Care for birth - age 2

Infants and toddlers are lovingly cared for in our nursery located on the main level near the sanctuary. Care is available during Sunday school and worship.

Sunday School at 9:30 a.m. during the school year for age 3 - grade 5
Children meet for a time of singing, then split into age level classes. Caring teachers share a curriculum that teaches Bible stories and related themes with age-appropriate activities.

Children in Worship (10:45 a.m.; 10 a.m. in summer)
Activity bags are available for children to use during the worship service and are located in the narthex just outside the sanctuary. Children's bulletins are available from the ushers and include activities that correspond with the lesson of the day.

Children's Church for age 3 - grade 2
Children are invited to Children's Church following the children's sermon during worship. The children focus on the same lesson as the adults with age-appropriate activities, and learn about the elements and experience of worship.

Fridays

Kids' Night Out - 6:30 pm (September - April)

Special Programs

Vacation Bible School (age 3 - grade 3)
For one week during the summer, children gather in the afternoons for a fun, theme-based program of learning about God. Bible lessons, music, crafts, snacks, and games all focus on the theme and how we can grow to be God's children.

Christmas Pageant
Each year during Advent, children prepare a special staging of the Christmas story, which is presented on the Sunday before Christmas during worship. The costumed children represent the various characters in scenes as the Scripture story is read.

Covenant Pines Bible Camp (entering grade 2 and up)
At summer camp, children can experience a special time of making friends, enjoying God's creation, and learning about his love for them. Covenant Pines is located north of the Twin Cities near McGregor, MN.
