Sundays

Nursery Care
Ages: birth – 2
Infants and toddlers are lovingly cared for in our nursery located on the main level near the sanctuary. Care is available during Sunday school and worship.

Sunday School
Ages: 3 – 5th grade
10 a.m. during the school year
Children meet for a time of singing, then split into age level classes. Caring teachers share a curriculum that teaches Bible stories and related themes with age-appropriate activities.

Children in Worship
11 a.m. during the school year; 10 a.m. in summer
Activity bags are available for children to use during the worship service and are located in the narthex just outside the sanctuary. Children’s bulletins are available from the ushers and include activities that correspond with the lesson of the day.

Children’s Church
Ages: 3 – Kindergarten
Children are invited to Children’s Church following the children’s message during worship. The children are learning the Bible narrative through chronological Bible stories and related activities.
Wednesdays

From September through April, Wonderful Wednesdays offer opportunities for all ages. Children’s activities include:

Children’s Choir
Ages: 4 – 1st grade, 4:00-4:30 p.m.
Grades 2 and up, 4:45-5:45 p.m.
Children learn to praise God with their voices and instruments as they learn about music and singing. Both choirs participate in worship services.

Common Meal
5:45-6:30 p.m.
Supper is provided for everyone in the Fellowship Hall.

Pioneer Club
All Ages
6:15-7:15 p.m.
Club starts with a Bible-based lesson, then crafts / projects which earn badges, followed by a time for games and fun.

Special Programs

Vacation Bible School Ages: 3 – 5th grade
For one week during the summer, children gather for a fun, theme-based program of learning about God. Bible lessons, music, crafts, snacks, and games all focus on the theme and how we can grow to be God’s children.

Christmas Pageant
Each year during Advent, children prepare a special staging of the Christmas story, which is presented on the Sunday before Christmas during worship. The costumed children represent the various characters in scenes as the Scripture story is read.

Covenant Pines Bible Camp
Ages: 2nd grade and up
At summer camp, children can experience a special time of making friends, enjoying God’s creation, and learning about his love for them. Covenant Pines is located north of the Twin Cities near McGregor, MN.
