Volunteer Opportunities

Mission Connection – Usually a two-week project in another country to build or remodel a church, work with children, etc. For the past several years, people at Bethlehem have been serving in Puerto Montt, Chile.

COAM – Several of our members are active in the Cooperative Older Adult Ministry in South Minneapolis.

Meals on Wheels – Several times during the year, people volunteer to deliver meals for a week to the homebound.
Loaves and Fishes – On the months when there is a fifth Monday, volunteers from Bethlehem serve a meal with the Loaves & Fishes ministry to about 200 people in north Minneapolis.

Tutoring – Tutors are always needed at the Bethlehem Child Care Center, for our own students, or in Minneapolis through the Kinship program (www.kinship.org).

Commissions – Use your gifts in service to the church by joining one of the many commissions at Bethlehem that administer the various ministries and tasks of the church:
Administration, Adult, Celebration (Worship), Children, Finance, Hospitality and Fellowship, Leadership Development, Long Range Planning, Missions, Outreach and Evangelism, Properties, Spiritual Life, Youth.
